Kelly Malone works as a Partner of King & Spalding LLP and serves as the head of the firm’s Nuclear Power Team. He regularly advises National Governments and State-owned companies during the procurement, development, financing and construction of large nuclear power plants and has served as lead legal advisor on some of the highest profile nuclear power mandates globally, including (i) the $ 20-25 Billion, 4800 MW Akkuyu Nuclear Power Project in Turkey, which incorporated four VVER-1200 pressurised water reactors, and (ii) the procurement, construction, financing, ownership and operation by a State-owned company located in the Middle East  of (up to) 3200 MW Large Nuclear Power Plant (currently ongoing).
