Adina Aurel is Counsel at Wolf Theiss and a member of the Energy & Projects team in Bucharest. With 20+ years’ legal experience in the energy sector, she played key roles in major M&A and infrastructure projects, with a focus on nuclear law and regulatory frameworks.

Her practice covers the full life cycle of nuclear and renewable projects, including development, licensing, due diligence, regulatory compliance, operational advice, and project integration. Adina has worked with the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant and is involved in Small Modular Reactor (SMR) initiatives in Romania.

Her expertise also includes negotiating EPC/O&M agreements, advising on power purchase agreements (PPAs), energy storage, gas-fired generation, and ensuring alignment with EU and national legislation.

Adina holds a Bachelor of Law and International Relations from the “Nicolae Titulescu” University of Bucharest and she is member of the Bucharest Bar since 2003.
