Wojciech Dąbrowski the president of think tank the SET Foundation and a member of the Council for Energy and Natural Resources under the President of the Republic of Poland. His is an experienced manager with a long-standing background in leading large capital groups, as well as in government and local administration. His professional expertise includes investment and legal consulting, streamlining corporate structures, optimizing costs, and enhancing company performance.
He co-authored the Polish government's plan to spin off coal assets from energy groups, a critical step toward the country's energy transition.
During his tenure as President of PGE ( the biggest energy company in Poland), Dąbrowski initiated and spearheaded Poland's largest offshore wind farm project in the Baltic Sea, in collaboration with Ørsted, a global leader in offshore energy. He also coordinated the nuclear power plant project in partnership with ZE PAK and Korea’s KHNP.
He played a key role in integrating district heating assets acquired from France's EDF into the PGE Group and led the acquisition of PKP Energetyka (now PGE Energetyka Kolejowa, an infrastructure operator that connects railways with the Polish energy system). Additionally, he managed large-scale infrastructure projects within the energy sector.
