Dr hab. inż. Marcin Jaskólski

He defended his doctoral thesis on modeling the development of regional energy systems in 2006. He was then employed at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology.

In 2010-2011, he participated in training and research internships at nuclear centers in France, including the CEA – Nuclear Energy Commission in Saclay and Electricite de France in Lyon.

His research focuses on models for planning the development of energy systems for electricity and heat generation, as well as methods for system analysis of a nuclear power plant with a light water reactor operating in partial cogeneration conditions. For his scientific achievements, he received a postdoctoral degree in 2025 and was appointed an associate professor at his alma mater.

Since October 2019, he has served as the Rector's Representative for Nuclear Power, and since December 2022, as Deputy Director of the Nuclear Power Center. Since 2023, he has been directing postgraduate studies in nuclear energy, and since 2025, he has been supervising the Inter-Faculty Nuclear Scientific Club "Neptunium", which brings together university students.
