I graduated in 1992 with a Master of Science in Engineering as a Nuclear Engineer, specializing in Nuclear Power Plants and Stations. I possess over 30 years of experience in the development of nuclear energy, with extensive expertise in safety assessment and licensing in Bulgaria, Finland, and the Czech Republic.

Over a decade in engineering companies beginning in 1992, I advanced from a Research Engineer to the Head of Group. Subject of activity - safety assessment of Nuclear Power Plants (NPP).

From 2003 to 2015, I held the position of Head of the Safety Analyses and Research Division at the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency. Subject of activity - regulatory assessment of NPPs and nuclear facilities.

Between 2015 and 2021, I was employed at Fennovoima Oy in Finland, where I progressed through various senior positions, ultimately becoming the Licensing Project Manager. Subject of activity - new NPP build.

From 2021 to 2023, I was the Head of the Safety Assessment Bureau at RAOS Project Oy in Finland. Subject of activity - new NPP build.

From 2023, I currently work as a Senior Nuclear Safety Expert and Program Manager at ÚJV Řež (Nuclear Research Institute Řež, Czech Republic). Subject of activity - assistance in nuclear safety, regulatory issues, and licensing matters related to both operational NPP and the construction of new NPPs, including small modular reactors (SMR).
