Nuclear engineer (2004), got his PhD Degree in “Nuclear and Industrial Safety” in 2008, his

technical background embraces system thermal-hydraulics and fuel performance. Within over

20 years spent in the ffeld of nuclear safety and licensing he contributed to several projects

including: the preparation of the Chapter 15 of the Atucha-2 Final Safety Analysis Report; the

safety performance assessment against the increase of the power analytical limit for the OPAL

research reactor in Australia; the Hanhikivi NPP in Finland “localization project” devoted to the

SAR Chapter 15 preparation.

In 2021 he co-founded Terra Innovatum, a start-up devoted to the design, realization and

commercialization of micro modular nuclear reactor SOLO in which he was involved since its

conceptualization (2018). While in TINN he is serving as Chief Technology Officer, he contributed from technical perspective to the SOLO project taking care of the fuel behavior analysis and in

the licensing process of the micro-reactor.

Since 2013, he is taking part in different International OECD-NEA and IAEA initiatives, he is

member of the OECD-NEA Working Group Fuel Safety (WGFS). He contributed to the preparation of several international publications and served as expert and panelist at several conferences

such as TopFuel, NUTHOS, BEPU, and NURETH.
